Chiropractor in St Kilda Road Melbourne and Sandringham Victoria.

Marita has been a chiropractor for more than 25 years. She completed her degree at RMIT, Melbourne from 1990 -1994. Prior to chiropractic, Marita qualified as a General Nurse at St. Vincent’s Public Hospital (3 year course) and as a Midwife at Mercy Maternity Hospital (1 year course). She worked in these hospitals and St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Marita also obtained UK registration and worked in London.

On completing her Chiropractic degree, Marita taught Obstetrics and Genecology to chiropractic and osteopathy students at RMIT, for many years. At this time she also supervised Chiropractic students at an RMIT clinic at Sacred Heart Mission in St. Kilda.

Marita trained to become a member of the Healthy Spines Team of Chiropractors, presenting a spinal health promotion program to children in primary schools. This carefully designed, interactive program augments an awareness of spinal heath via postural and environmental influences.

Post-graduate study of Dry Needling provides Marita with another valuable tool for treatment.

Marita and her family participate in a broad range of sports. These include: skiing, tennis, SUP, yoga, rowing and both codes of football. An aim of Marita’s practice is to keep athletes of all ages and levels participating in their sport of interest, at their optimum potential.

Marita is a member of: Australian Chiropractors Association ACA / AICE Sports & Exercise / Women in Chiropractic.
